We are delighted to share the news that Mr. Dan DeCoursey, our esteemed senior investigator and partner, is rejoining our team. After an impactful tenure, Mr. DeCoursey was recruited by the Florida Gaming Control Commission in November 2022 to spearhead the establishment of their Law Enforcement Unit. Serving as their Chief of Law Enforcement Services until March 2024, he played a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s Law Enforcement Division, primarily focusing on addressing gambling violations statewide.
During his tenure, Mr. DeCoursey demonstrated exemplary leadership by overseeing staff recruitment, establishing three regional offices, developing training programs, and formulating policies critical to the agency’s operation. His strategic vision and operational acumen were instrumental in ensuring the effective enforcement of laws pertaining to gambling activities. Moreover, he fostered formalized partnerships with local law enforcement agencies, facilitating a coordinated effort to combat illegal gambling in their jurisdictions.
Reflecting on his experience, Mr. DeCoursey expressed profound satisfaction in building the Law Enforcement Division from its inception. He emphasized the gratification derived from the opportunity to create something meaningful and impactful from the ground up.
